Hanslope Parish Council is pleased to confirm that your company is an approved supplier of landscaping and associated services and has been for the last six years.

The Council is very pleased with your professional and prompt performance of agreed responsibilities. Also the quick action taken with regard to any requests or queries put forward.

The services you have provided include tree maintenance, grass and hedge cutting, specimen planting and pond maintenance.

This year the Council entered the ‘Bucks Best Kept Village’ competition and received a Highly Commended grading. The pond area received a special mention by the judges and a 9 out of 10 rating. This reflects the high standards produced by your team.

Yours Sincerely

Bert McDonald Clerk to the Parish Council

We have been using Marcus Young Landscapes now for our grounds maintenance at Tickford Park Primary School for a couple of years and have been really happy with the service provided.

Marcus has the client’s best interests at heart and is very keen to provide a good service. Our grounds have been maintained to a very high standard.

Marcus and his team are very professional and often go ’above and beyond’ to ensure that our grounds are looking their best for the childrens’ return to school. Marcus is very pro-active – suggesting ways we could improve our environment and checking when we have sports days etc. so that our tracks and football pitches are always marked up for when we need them.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Marcus Young Landscapes.

Best wishes

“Marcus Young provides a service to our Parish Council for our Dog Bin emptying contract and for the last year, the grass cutting contract on our playing fields/football pitches.

I would not hesitate in recommending their services as they are professional, efficient, reliable and very conscientious, ensuring that they carry out the job correctly.

Marcus Young also ensure that they have a good partnership with us, in order to ensure that our requirements are met. Our football pitches look better than they have for a long period of time”

Marcus Young Landscapes helping the Garden Buddies project to flourish and grow!

Garden Buddies is a five-year Big Lottery funded project, operating across South Northamptonshire and managed by snvb (formerly South Northants Volunteer Bureau).  One paid project worker and his team of volunteers provide basic garden maintenance to elderly and or disabled people, who have no other means of support.  This community project aims to offer help to the most needy while also providing a positive focus for volunteers of all abilities.

snvb has established an excellent working relationship with Marcus Young Landscapes and Marcus very generously offered to provide work experience to the Garden Buddies project; with Barry joining Marcus and his team on site in Stony Stratford. This has led to an increase in Barry's skills and knowledge.

Melanie Bignell the Garden Buddies Project Manager said "This is a win win situation for one and all.  Barry will pass on his newly acquired knowledge and skills to our volunteers, which will enhance the service provided to our clients. Finally, and no less importantly this wonderful gesture by Marcus clearly illustrates his keen interest and passion for making a difference to local communities.  Everything in the garden is looking rosy"

Dear Marcus and Sarah,

On behalf of the Town Council, I would like to express thanks for your attendance at the committee meeting last night and for the excellent presentation that you gave. I spoke to several members after the meeting and they all confirmed that it was very informative and offered a clear path forward for the remainder of the contract.

As you are aware, the committee thanked Marcus Young Landscapes for its work during this initial phase of our three year agreement and recognised the major improvements that have been achieved during this phase to the parish’s landscape which is so valued by the community.

The Town Council recognises that this could not have been achieved without not only your own dedication but also that of the whole of your team and asks that you pass on our thanks to everyone involved.

The Town Council looks forward to continuing to work with Marcus Young Landscapes for the remainder of the contract term.

Wishing you and all the team a very Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.

On behalf of Stony Stratford Town Council

Best wishes

Charles Brindley
